In addition, VFD sales, start ups, parts & service, and maintenance. Title: Estimator – Seeking a motivated individual to assist in all aspects of estimating and coordinating of gas detection systems. Our company is well established in the gas detection sales, calibrations, commissioning, parts and service and estimating will revolve around these business requirements.
What you will provide (skills/responsibilities):
- Self motivated, self starter, proactive work ethic.
- Ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively with team members.
- Multi-task and manage job estimates time effectively.
- Attention to detail on drawings, specifications, labour and product requirements (which may include customer site visits)
- Driven, motivated, and resourceful to achieve company and personal goals.
- Highly organized, prompt follow up protocols.
- Mathematical Skills
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable hosting meetings with small groups.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Laptop, Smartphone, iPad).
- Willingness to travel, overnight occasionally.
- Preference to candidates with sales experience
- Technical knowledge in instrumentation, gas detection, controls and drives is an asset
